And what you can do about it

Smart and successful people should be happier but research and observations prove that most are not as happy as we thought they should be. This might not be entirely true for all people but let's talk about why most of those who are not happy feel that way. One of the commonly held opinions is that succeeds brings happiness.

Success will not make you happy. The only way to feel successful about yourself and your accomplishment is to see success as relative accomplishment. The key to happiness is not a success. It is found that happiness is the key to success.

There are super achievers in sports, business, art, politics that feel miserable after major achievements. They set and achieve the greatest goal of their lives and yet they still feel miserable afterward.

You may have experienced such before. You have a stable income, you are skillful and you have the family and friends around you and yet still you feel less happy.

As an entrepreneur, I have made some deals or acquired big clients and still feel miserable and less happy afterward. I have seen some miserable but successful people and I begin to question if happiness leads to success or it is success that leads to happiness.
